Barcelona Urban Acroyoga Retreat

As we believe in wholesome approach to the practice, each morning we will begin our day with meditation and yoga. Through the retreat, we aim to promote living life fully with playfulness, caring, loving and authenticity through different discipline and challenges.

Level & Participants :

This workshop is open to all level. We will make sure beginners, intermediate and advanced practitioners are challenged in their suitable level.

Program description :

Session 1 : Fundamental & Inversion

This session aims to set a common vocabulary, basic positions and spotting instruction among participants, so that we can go further into challanges, safely, with confidence and the support of the group.

Session 2 : Acroyoga for all

Here, we will extend our practice, adding novel poses and unique transitions. Some are simple and within everyone’s reach, other’s will take more time to master. Prepare to be challenged!

Session 3 : Standing Acrobatic

Got the basics? Ready to challenge your sense of balance even further? Here come standing Acro !

Starting from the ground, we will learn how to move up higher and higher. We will break down transitions into achievable pieces with more challenging options available.

The workshop is aimed for all level practicioners with options depending on where you are in your practise. Expect to work hard, have fun and to get high!

Session 4 : Thai Massage with Cacao Ceremony

Finally, we invite you to come back to the first steps of our practice: deep listening and connection to ourself and our partner. The aim in the therapeutic practice, is that both the giver and receiver feel nourished and balanced. Our main tools are gravity, sensitivity, loving kindness, feeling and releasing.

Together with the help of the Cacao ceremony, we will dive deep into the magic of healing touch.

Haein Cho -

Haein shares AcroYoga as a practice that is available for every body, age, and ability, aiming to support all beings through movement, connection, and play.

She's a yoga teacher and level 2 Acroyoga teacher based in Brussels. She shares her passion in Europe and Asia. With a background in Aquatic body work, she brings in a unique softness in her Acro Yoga practice with fine balance between effortless movement and body control.

Didi Melnik Porat -

Didi Porat from israel, currently based in Barcelona is a vinyasa yoga teacher over 10 years, an acroyoga teacher & monkey and kids yoga teacher. She loves to play, dance and move around all the time - and spread the LOVE of the practice with all. One of her favorite things in the world (after Ori and Leela) is to see the smile on a face who had just got his first flying session.
